Who am I?
I'm Kaushik.
I design it.
Then I build it.
I'm a UX Engineer with 6 years across healthcare, enterprise, and AI products. I design in Figma and build in React, sometimes the same afternoon. I see coding as adding life to the ideas. That process got a lot faster once I started exploring AI prototyping tools like Cursor, V0 by Vercel, and Claude Code they've simplified the back and forth between designs and GitHub considerably.
What I believe
Design should show what is needed.
I connect design back to my DSLR. The viewfinder doesn't show you everything in the scene, it shows you exactly what you need at that moment. That's the standard I hold every screen to. If it doesn't need to be there, it isn't.

Bay Area
Growing up in Visakhapatnam, a city where the Indian Navy and the Eastern Ghats meet at the Bay of Bengal. I grew up seeing functional and beautiful share the same space without competing. Moving to Hyderabad pushed that further. That city was building itself in real time, evolving in terabytes per second, and working there shaped how I think about speed, systems, and scale.
